Started by sisters in law Alice & Toni Scott, Alice had a career in nutrition and recipe writing before moving into the world of beauty. With her background in nutrition, Alice wanted to avoid using the harsh chemicals found in most home cleaning and fragrance products and so had been making her own for years before starting to teach others how to do it for themselves using the incredible scents and therapeutic benefits of essential oils.

Scott's Apothecary's natural workshops and DIY kits have been going since 2017, and the studio is now based in the south side of Glasgow. The family business produces a range of hand made, hand blended natural products using sustainable ingredients. 

Our candles pack a scent punch using a high percentage of essential oils. We handmade them in Scotland using sustainably sourced and clean burning soy wax from Sweden for a slow burn. We want you to smell our candles when you walk into a room, whether they are lit or not. ​
